These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of store.thequietnest.blog and any digital products, guides, or resources offered by The Quiet Nest ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the site or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are

The Quiet Nest is operated by The Quiet Nest, Italy. You can reach us at hello@thequietnest.blog.

2. Our products

We sell digital products — downloadable PDF guides, databases, and spreadsheets — for renters and small-budget homeowners. Products are delivered electronically by email and/or download link immediately after a successful purchase. They are for your own personal, single-household use.

3. Payments and merchant of record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders. Paddle handles all payments, billing enquiries, and the collection and remittance of applicable sales tax and VAT, and their Buyer Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase. Prices are shown in US dollars and any applicable tax is added at checkout based on your location.

4. License to use the products

On purchase you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the product for your own personal use. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, republish, or share the files; remove our branding; or use the content to create a competing product. We retain all intellectual property rights in our content.

5. Refunds

We offer a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund on every digital product. Full details and how to request one are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use the site lawfully and not to attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the service, scrape content at scale, or infringe the rights of others. We may suspend or terminate access for any breach of these Terms.

7. Disclaimer and "as is"

Our products provide design, styling, and organising guidance for informational purposes. Every home, rental agreement, and budget is different — results will vary, and nothing here is professional, legal, or financial advice. Before drilling, painting, or making changes to a rented property, check your own lease and, where needed, your landlord's permission. The site and products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of deposit, property damage, or costs arising from how you apply the guidance. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the product. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer.

9. Third-party links

Our content and products may link to third-party retailers and websites. We are not responsible for the content, pricing, availability, or practices of those third parties.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when they last changed. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
